LEX PRODUCTS PCS TRIO TRIPLE SINGLE POLE RELAY MODULE (PCS-A-MD-RRR) SPECIFICATION
1. GENERAL 1.1. Triple single pole relay modules shall be responsible for the switching of three (3) 20A 120 VAC AC circuits. 1.2. Triple single pole relay modules shall be fully compatible with the entirety of the Lex Products PCS TRIO Module Chamber series of power control products. 2. ELECTRICAL 2.1. Triple single pole relay modules shall contain three (3) individually controlled, electrically separate and electronically addressable circuits. 2.2. Each circuit shall be rated to operate at a nominal voltage of 208Y/120 VAC 3-phase, 4- wire plus ground. The nominal frequency shall be 60Hz. 2.3. Relay circuits shall be capable of operating within a range of 90 to 250 VAC at 50 to 65Hz. 2.4. Each circuit shall be protected by a branch-rated, hydraulic-magnetic circuit breaker with a 10,000 AIC surge and 100% trip rating. 2.4.1. The circuit breaker shall be rated for tungsten loads having an inrush rating of no less than 20 times normal current. 2.5. Failure of an individual circuit shall not affect the operation of the remaining circuits. 2.6. Each circuit shall be rated to 20 Amps at 1.5 HP. 3. MECHANICAL 3.1. Each triple single pole relay module shall be labeled on its face as RRR indicating Relay/Relay/Relay. 3.2. Triple single pole relay modules shall be fully factory wired and ready for installation. 3.3. Module components shall be housed in removable chassis comprised of 14 gauge powder-coated steel. 3.4. The face of the module shall have dual molded grips for module insertion/removal and circuit breaker handles. 3.5. Right-side molded grip shall incorporate LED indicators displaying individual circuit status. 3.6. The rear of the module shall have self-aligning power and communication connections to ensure integrity of contact. 3.7. The left and right sides shall have guides for accurate alignment of power and communication connections as well as molded spring clips for module retention. Guides shall also possess copper paddles to ensure proper grounding. 3.8. Modules may be inserted and removed from PCS TRIO Module Chambers without the use of tools.
